Rudolf Martin Meelführer

Rudolf Martin Meelführer (1670–1729) was a German Hebrew scholar. He studied under Wagenseil at the University of Altdorf and followed his teacher in researching how Christianity is described in the Talmud. He taught at Altdorf and later became an adjunct in philosophy at the University of Wittenberg. In 1699 he published a dissertation, Jesus in the Talmude (Jesus in the Talmud), the first work devoted entirely to this topic.
