Royal Astronomy
Royal Astronomy is the fifth studio album by English electronic musician Mike Paradinas, who performs as μ-Ziq. It was released on 26 July 1999 by Hut Records and Astralwerks. The album runs 58 minutes and 41 seconds and is in the drill ’n’ bass style. All tracks were written by Paradinas. The single “The Fear” came out on 12 July 1999. The album follows Brace Yourself (1998) and precedes Bilious Paths (2003). Critics praised it as ambitious and adventurous: Spin called it Paradinas’s most ambitious work, PopMatters hailed it as his most advanced and adventurous, and NME ranked it the 38th best album of 1999.
