Rosa 'Evening Star'
Rosa 'Evening Star' is a white-blend floribunda rose developed by William Warriner in the United States in 1974 and introduced there by Jackson & Perkins. It came from crossing hybrid tea 'White Masterpiece' with floribunda 'Saratoga' and won the Portland Gold Medal in 1977.
The plant is a medium-tall, bushy shrub about 3–5 ft tall and 2–4 ft wide. Flowers are large, 4–5 inches across, creamy white with a pale golden center, and have a mild fragrance. They are double (16–25 petals) with a high-centered, spiral form. Leaves are semi-glossy dark green. It blooms in flushes from spring through autumn and grows best in USDA zone 6 and warmer.
