Givira theodori is a moth in the family Cossidae. Classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Lepidoptera; Family Cossidae; Genus Givira; Species theodori. It is found in the United States — in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. The wingspan is about 26 millimeters. Adults are on wing from April to September. The species was described by Dyar in 1893 and has also been named Hypopta theodori and Givira kunzei. The name honors Theodore Dru Alison Cockerell, who collected the specimen.
