Chikil
Chikil, also known as Oblivnoy, is a small, uninhabited island in the Bay of Baku, Azerbaijan. It belongs to the Baku Archipelago, which includes several nearby islands such as Boyuk Zira, Dash Zira, Qum Island, Zenbil, Sangi-Mugan, Qara Su, Khara Zira, Gil, and Ignat Dash.
Chikil covers about 0.4 square kilometers and rises about 25 meters above the sea. The surrounding waters are shallow, and the island has little vegetation, largely due to oil pollution and other factors. The area hosts wildlife like Caspian seals, sturgeon, and a variety of birds, including teal ducks, herring gulls, and grebes.
