Richard Coady, nicknamed Richie (Irish: Risteard Mac Óda), born 1988 in Borris, County Carlow, is an Irish hurler. He plays for Mount Leinster Rangers in the Carlow Senior Hurling Championship and at inter-county level with the Carlow senior team. He usually lines out as a left wing-back.

Coady has won 12 Carlow Senior Hurling Championship titles with Mount Leinster Rangers, along with a Leinster Intermediate Club Championship and an All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship. In 2018, he captained Carlow to their first Joe McDonagh Cup title.

He played on the Carlow minor team with Pádraig Amond. Since 2008, he has been part of the Carlow senior inter-county team, and he has not won Leinster, All-Ireland, National Hurling League, or All-Star honors.
