Rhede is a town in western Germany, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is part of the Borken district and sits near the Netherlands border, about 5 km east of Bocholt. The town covers 78.65 square kilometers and is about 32 meters above sea level. As of December 31, 2023, Rhede has about 19,837 residents. The mayor for 2020–2025 is Jürgen Bernsmann.
