Rhône's 4th constituency
Rhône's 4th constituency is a district that elects one member of Parliament to the National Assembly. It uses a two-round voting system. The seat covers eastern parts of Lyon. Since 2015 it has been part of the Lyon Metropolis and is administratively outside the Rhône department. Until 2017, voters there usually chose centre-right candidates, including former Prime Minister Raymond Barre. The current deputy is Sandrine Runel of the Socialist Party. There are about 80,000 registered voters. The area includes parts of Lyon cantons VI, VII, XI, XIII and part of XIV.
