Rapmasters: From Tha Priority Vaults, Vol. 6 is a compilation album of various West Coast hip hop and gangsta rap artists. It was released on August 5, 1997 by Priority Records and runs 39 minutes and 29 seconds. The tracks were recorded between 1988 and 1996. Producers include DJ Pooh, JT The Bigga Figga, Shaleek, Vooodu, Rhythum D, 88 X Unit, Dr. Dre, Courtney Branch, Tracy Kendrick, Mike Mosley, and Sam Bostic. This is the sixth volume in Priority Records’ eight-volume budget Rapmasters series released during 1996–1997. Like most volumes in the series, it was issued in an edited version that censored many profanities.
