Rachael Riley
Rachael Riley (born 2004) is a Canadian artistic gymnast who has competed for Canada and for Rutgers University. She was born in Anqing, China, and grew up in Ontario, Canada. She trains with Bluewater Gymnastics under head coach Pilar Maldonado. Riley represented Canada from 2018 to 2021 and joined the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in 2023 for college gymnastics.
In her junior years she showed strong results at Canadian Championships, Elite Canada, and international meets. She won the novice all-around and vault titles at the Canadian Championships, and earned a floor medal. At Elite Canada 2019 she finished in the top five overall and won vault in event finals. She helped Canada win bronze at L'International Gymnix in 2019, taking bronze on vault as an individual.
Riley turned senior in 2020, but illness delayed her first senior competition. She competed at L'International Gymnix 2020 and later at the Koper Challenge Cup, reaching finals on vault and balance beam and finishing seventh on both. She continued her career with Rutgers starting in 2023 and remains part of the national program when selected.
