R668 road (Ireland)
The R668 is a regional road in Ireland that runs from Lismore in County Waterford to Cahir in County Tipperary, passing through Clogheen and Ballylooby. The Lismore to Clogheen section is a scenic drive through the Vee Gap in the Knockmealdown Mountains, between Sugarloaf Hill and Knockshanahullion. In the 18th century, the Cahir–Clogheen stretch was part of the Cashel to Cork main road, but in the early 19th century it was replaced by the current R639 route between Cahir and Mitchelstown. The R668 intersects the R913 at Mitchelstown Road in Cahir, is crossed by the R665 at Clogheen, and at Glentanagree Bridge the R669 heads southeast toward Mount Melleray and Cappoquin. It also connects with the N72 at Ballyrafter after entering County Waterford.
