Quentin MacDonald

Quentin MacDonald (born 25 September 1988 in Blenheim, New Zealand) is a former rugby union player who played as a hooker. He represented Tasman in the NPC from 2007 to 2015 and again from 2020 to 2024, reaching 100 games for the province in 2021. In Super Rugby, he played for the Crusaders (2010–2012, 2023–2024), the Blues (2013, 2016) and the Chiefs (2015). He also spent time overseas with Munster in 2014 and Oyonnax from 2016 to 2020. Internationally, he represented New Zealand at youth levels and played for the Māori All Blacks in 2012 and 2015. He is of Māori descent (Rangitāne). In 2023, he scored two tries for the Crusaders in his return to the team. MacDonald retired from professional rugby by 2024.
