Prunus guanaiensis

Prunus guanaiensis is a tree in the rose family (Rosaceae). It is native to western South America, from Colombia to Bolivia, and grows in montane forests at elevations of about 500 to 2,000 meters. The species appears closely related to other South American Prunus species, including P. debilis, P. littlei, and P. wurdackii. It has been known by the synonym Prunus ernestii García-Barr. The binomial name is Prunus guanaiensis Rusby.
