Protorygma
Protorygma is an extinct genus of flies in the Sepsidae family. It is part of the order Diptera, class Insecta, phylum Arthropoda, and kingdom Animalia. It belongs to the subfamily Orygmatinae. The genus was described by Hennig in 1965. The type species is Protorygma electricum, also described by Hennig in 1965. It is known from fossils.
