Promethium(III) nitrate
Promethium(III) nitrate is an inorganic, radioactive salt of promethium and nitric acid with the formula Pm(NO3)3. It dissolves in water and can form crystalline hydrates, such as Pm(NO3)3·6H2O, which appear as purple-pink crystals. The molar mass is 206.918 g/mol and the CAS number is 42083-68-1. It carries a GHS warning. When heated, it decomposes to promethium(III) oxide (Pm2O3).
