Princeton Independent School District (Princeton ISD)
Princeton ISD is a rural public school district in Princeton, Texas. It covers about 60 square miles and serves Princeton and nearby communities, including Culleoka, Lowry Crossing, Branch, Climax, and the west side of Lake Lavon. Since 2018, the district has held an A rating from the Texas Education Agency.

- High schools (grades 9–12)
- Princeton High School — serves grades 11–12, capacity around 1,800.
- Lovelady High School — serves grades 9–10, opened in 2021, capacity around 1,800.

- Clark Middle School — mascot Panthers, capacity 700.
- Mattei Middle School — mascot Jaguars, opened 2023, capacity 1,000.
- Southard Middle School — mascot Panthers, opened 2019, capacity 1,000.

- Canup Early Childhood Center — PK, opened 2020, capacity 300 (located in the former Huddleston Intermediate building).
- Godwin Elementary School — K–5, opened 2004, capacity 700.

- Harper Elementary School — K–5, capacity 700.
- James Elementary School — K–5, opened 2024, capacity 700.
- Lacy Elementary School — K–5, capacity 750; formerly Princeton Elementary; renamed in 2004.
- Lowe Elementary School — K–5, opened 2019, capacity 750.
- Mayfield Elementary School — K–5, opened 2022, capacity 700.
- Perkins Early Childhood Center — PK, planned opening 2025, capacity 300.
- Smith Elementary School — K–5, opened 2015, capacity 750.

- Abbott Elementary School — K–5, opening 2027.
- Anthony High School — 9–12, opening 2029 (will later become a 11–12 senior high).
- Banschbach Middle School — 6–8, opening 2026.
- Carrell Elementary School — K–5, opening 2026.
- Hill Elementary School — K–5, opening 2031.
- McMahon Middle School — 6–8, opening 2032.
- Talley Elementary School — K–5, opening 2030.

- Princeton ISD operates a District of Innovation Plan for 2022–2027, with origins dating to January 12, 2017.
