Pratylenchus pratensis is a plant-pathogenic nematode, a tiny worm that lives in soil and feeds on plant roots, causing disease in many crops. It affects plants such as English holly, oats, corn, alfalfa, strawberry, and clover. Scientific name: Pratylenchus pratensis (de Man, 1880). It belongs to the kingdom Animalia, the phylum Nematoda, the class Secernentea, the order Tylenchida, the family Pratylenchidae, and the genus Pratylenchus.
