Prairiewood High School
Prairiewood High School is a government-funded, co-educational secondary school in Wetherill Park, in south-west Sydney, NSW, Australia. Established in 1984, it serves about 1,200 students in Years 7–12, with around 74% from language backgrounds other than English. The school is run by the New South Wales Department of Education and offers both comprehensive and partially selective programs. The motto is Per Ardua (Through Striving), and the school colors are green and yellow. Notable facilities include an observatory with a 12-inch Meade telescope and an Astronomy elective, as well as an agricultural area with livestock and crops. The principal is Christine Roberts.
