Pluto's Christmas Tree

Pluto's Christmas Tree is a 1952 Mickey Mouse cartoon directed by Jack Hannah. It runs about 6 minutes and 45 seconds and stars Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Chip ’n’ Dale.

What happens
- Mickey and Pluto look for a Christmas tree, while Chip and Dale search for acorns in the forest.
- The chipmunks spot Pluto and throw acorns at him, then hide inside a tree. Unaware, Mickey cuts down that very tree.
- At home, Mickey and Pluto decorate the tree. Pluto notices unusual lights and investigates. Dale is playing with the lights and hides behind Pluto’s nose, making Pluto bark at him.
- Dale distracts Pluto by tossing ornaments. Mickey, thinking he’s just decorating, hangs an ornament on Dale’s disguise.
- Chip spots what’s really going on. He rescues Dale and the two cheerfully head for the tree. Pluto chases them up a ladder, but the ladder tips and a star falls onto Pluto’s tail.
- Frustrated, Pluto dives into the tree to chase the chipmunks. Mickey tries to help but ends up being pulled into the chaos as the tree loses its decorations.
- In the end, Chip and Dale are seen with only a few decorations left, while a Christmas carol by Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie, and friends plays in the background. A sticker reading “DO NOT OPEN TIL X-MAS” covers Pluto’s mouth.
