Plicatoscyllium is an extinct genus of carpet sharks that lived during the Late Cretaceous. Fossils have been found in France, Jordan, the Netherlands, Syria, and the United States, with possible remains from Cenozoic deposits in Saudi Arabia.

The genus was named in 1997 by G.R. Case and H. Cappetta to reclassify several species that had been placed in Ginglymostoma, including gharbii, youssoufiaense, and minutum. Some researchers also consider that Ginglyostomata globidens could belong to Plicatoscyllium. Other species historically linked to this group include Plicatoscyllium derameei, P. lehneri, P. minutum, and P. youssoufiaense.

Teeth attributed to Plicatoscyllium have been found with the remains of the giant mosasaur Prognathodon saturator, and bite marks on mosasaur bones suggest these sharks scavenged carcasses.

Time range and classification:
- Temporal range: Middle Campanian to Maastrichtian (Late Cretaceous)
- Family: Ginglymostomatidae
- Order: Orectolobiformes
- Class: Chondrichthyes (cartilaginous fishes)
