Paulinho (1933–2013) was a Brazilian football forward whose full name was Paulo de Almeida. He was born on 15 September 1933 in Campos dos Goytacazes, Brazil, and died on 8 November 2013 in his hometown from pneumonia at the age of 80.

Club career
Paulinho began his career with Goytacaz FC before joining Flamengo, where he played from 1951 to 1957. He made 144 appearances for Flamengo and scored 58 goals, helping the club win the Campeonato Carioca in 1953, 1954 and 1955, and the Taça dos Campeões Estaduais Rio-São Paulo in 1955. He then moved to Palmeiras (1957–1959), recording 111 appearances and 41 goals and winning the Campeonato Paulista in 1959. He finished his career in Argentina, with spells at River Plate and Estudiantes.

International career
Paulinho was part of Brazil’s squad for the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, though he did not play in any matches. In 1956, he earned six caps for the Brazil national team and scored one goal, including a goal against England at Wembley in a friendly.
