Pittsburgh Youth Ballet

Pittsburgh Youth Ballet is a nonprofit dance organization in Pittsburgh. The school began in 1983 and the company started in 1990. It was led for a time by Jean Gedeon, a former Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre dancer. Alumni have performed with the New York City Ballet and other professional companies. In 2019, the group renamed itself Texture Ballet School and is now directed by Alan Obuzor.
