Philippe Lefort (born 30 November 1956) is a French diplomat. He was France’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea from 2019 to 2023. Since 2023, he has been a special adviser on digital affairs to the OECD Secretary-General.

Education and career: Lefort studied at the École normale supérieure of Saint-Cloud and taught literature before joining the École nationale d’administration (ENA), from which he graduated in 1987. His postings include Ambassador to Georgia (2004–2007); Deputy Head of Mission at the French embassy in Russia; European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia; and Director of the Information Systems Bureau at the French Foreign Ministry.
