Federal Correctional Complex, Tucson (FCC Tucson) is a U.S. federal prison complex for male inmates located in Tucson, Arizona. It is run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a part of the U.S. Department of Justice. The complex includes two facilities and a minimum-security prison camp, with about 2,500 inmates in total. About 520 staff are needed to run the entire complex, with the minimum-security camp providing additional labor. When the U.S. Penitentiary opened in February 2007, it worsened the local shortage of prison officers by drawing workers away from the nearby Arizona Department of Corrections facility on Wilmot Road.
