Pavoclinus mentalis, the Bearded klipfish, is a fish in the clinid family. It occurs from Mozambique to Algoa Bay, South Africa, living in weedy areas in the subtidal zone. It can grow up to 30 centimetres in length. The species has also been described under other names, including Cristiceps mentalis and Labroclinus mentalis. Its conservation status is Least Concern according to the IUCN.
