Philip Jonathan Clark (born 12 August 1979) is an Australian political scientist and Professor of International Politics at SOAS, University of London. He specializes in war and post‑war politics and governance.

Clark was born in Khartoum, Sudan, and is an Australian citizen. He earned a Bachelor of International Studies from Flinders University and was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he later completed his PhD in Politics.

Before his academic career, Clark played cricket as a right‑handed batsman and right‑arm medium‑fast bowler. He appeared in one first‑class match for Oxford UCCE in 2002 against Worcestershire, taking one wicket.

Clark’s research and teaching focus on international politics, conflict, and post‑war reconstruction, and he serves as a professor at SOAS.
