Paul Martin Shields (born 15 August 1981 in Dunfermline) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a striker. He began his professional career with Raith Rovers in 1998 and earned a spell training with Tottenham Hotspur. In 2000 he moved to Celtic for £100,000, but he made only one league appearance for the club and spent time on loan at Albion Rovers, Clydebank and Queen of the South.

After leaving Celtic in 2003, Shields joined Clyde and then Forfar Athletic, where he enjoyed a productive spell (67 appearances, 29 goals). He later played for Gillingham and Livingston, with a loan to Ayr United. In 2007 he moved abroad to Sweden to play for Östersunds FK, before returning to Scotland with Bo'ness United (helping them win the East Superleague in 2009–10 and scoring a cup-winning goal against Queen's Park). He also played for Broxburn Athletic and Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic, leaving Bonnyrigg in 2013.

Since retiring, Shields has worked as a masseur for Hearts, Rangers and the Scotland national team.
