Pashford Poor's Fen, Lakenheath
Pashford Poor's Fen, Lakenheath is a 12.4-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) located east of Lakenheath in Suffolk. It was notified in 1995. The site has diverse habitats, including species-rich meadows, fen and marsh hollows, birch woodland, scrub and reed beds. Its invertebrate life is rich and it contains the last known British site for a beetle listed in the Red Data Book of Threatened Species. The land is private with no public access.
