Pascal Canavan
Pascal Canavan is a former Gaelic footballer from Tyrone. He played for the Tyrone county team and took part in Tyrone's second All-Ireland Final in 1995. He captained Errigal Ciarán in 2002 and retired from inter-county football later that year after Tyrone's National Football League success. He worked as a Religious Education teacher at St Ciaran's High School in Ballygawley and often coached the school's under-18 team. His greatest achievement there was winning the All-Ireland with co-manager Brendan Traynor. After that, they became joint managers of Buncrana GAA club in Donegal and helped them reach Senior status. His younger brother is Peter Canavan, one of Tyrone's most successful players. Pascal later became the manager of Armagh Harps, the Division 1A champions in Armagh.
