Palaeotriakis
Palaeotriakis was a genus of ground sharks that lived in what is now France during the Late Cretaceous period. It belongs to the shark family Triakidae. The genus has two species that were originally described as Paratriakis species. In particular, Palaeotriakis curtirostris is sometimes still classified by scientists as Paratriakis curtirostris. These are prehistoric cartilaginous fishes.
