Oscar Adrián Ahumada (born 31 August 1982) is a former Argentine football midfielder. Born in Zárate, Buenos Aires, he began his professional career with River Plate, making his debut on 24 November 2002 in a 2–1 win over Olimpo. He helped River Plate win the Clausura championships in 2003 and 2004 before a brief spell on loan at VfL Wolfsburg in Germany in 2004. He returned to River Plate in 2005 and stayed until 2009. In 2010 he moved to Veracruz in Mexico, then had a short spell with Rostov in Russia, and finished his career with All Boys (2012–2014). Internationally, he played for Argentina's U20 team (2000–2001) and earned one cap for the senior national team in 2012. He was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship on home soil. In 2008, after commenting that River fans did not show enough support, he faced criticism from fans following a Libertadores exit to San Lorenzo, but the team went on to win the Clausura that year with his contribution.
