Orphnolechia anaphanta is a small moth in the family Depressariidae, found in Brazil (Amazonas and Pará). It has a wingspan of about 11 mm. The forewings are dark fuscous. In males there are two yellowish longitudinal streaks near the base: a short subcostal streak and a longer supramedian spindle-shaped streak. These markings are usually hard to see but can become visible when the wing covering is manipulated. There is also a slender curved white streak from just before the middle of the leading edge to beyond the middle of the wing, and a slender crenulate white streak around the apex and the upper two-thirds of the outer edge. The hindwings are rather dark grey, becoming darker toward the back. Taxonomy: Binomial name Orphnolechia anaphanta, described by Meyrick in 1925. It has a synonym Stenoma anaphanta Meyrick, 1925.
