Orange Township is one of thirteen townships in Noble County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, about 3,934 people lived there, up from 3,911 in 2010, with about 1,994 housing units.

Geography: The township covers about 36.18 square miles (93.7 km2). Of this, roughly 34.68 square miles (89.8 km2) is land and 1.5 square miles (3.9 km2) is water. The elevation is about 948 feet (289 meters).

Landmarks: The Gene Stratton-Porter Cabin, also known as the Cabin at Wildflower Woods, is in Rome City within the township. Built in 1913, it was the home of author Gene Stratton-Porter and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The site is now the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site, operated by the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites and open to the public. Scenes from the 1927 film adaptation of Stratton-Porter’s The Harvester were filmed there.
