Opacities (EP)
Opacities is the fourth EP by British progressive metal band SikTh, released on 4 December 2015. It was the group’s first release after reforming in 2014. The EP was self-released as the band funded a planned album in 2015 via PledgeMusic and recorded without a label. Opacities was recorded in summer 2015 at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, with production by Dan Weller, Justin Hill, Mikee Goodman, and SikTh. A video for the track Philistine Philosophies premiered on 2 November 2015, and the EP was streamed by The Independent on 2 December ahead of its release. SikTh supported Opacities with five shows alongside Slipknot. Lyrics are by Mikee Goodman; music is by SikTh.
