On the Ropes (1999 film)
On the Ropes is a 1999 American documentary directed by Nanette Burstein and Brett Morgen. It follows three young boxers—Noel Santiago, Tyrene Manson, and George Walton—and their coach, Harry Keitt, as they train and pursue success in the sport. The film is 94 minutes long, with music by Theodore Shapiro. It was produced by Highway Films and distributed by Winstar Cinema. It was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 72nd Academy Awards.
