Odeon Leeds-Bradford
Odeon Leeds-Bradford is a cinema at Gallagher Leisure Park in Thornbury, West Yorkshire, between Leeds and Bradford. It has 13 screens, with seating from 126 to 442. All screens use Dolby Digital sound, and the two largest screens have DTS digital surround sound. In 2011 all screens were upgraded to digital projection using NEC projectors, Doremi servers, and Unique System's Rosetta Bridge Theatre Management System. Seven screens can show 3D using RealD.
Gallagher Group built the Leisure Park in the late 1990s and lined up a major cinema operator, who pulled out before completion, so Odeon took over. The cinema opened on 6 July 2000. The Bradford Odeon closed in June 2000 and the Leeds Odeon closed in 2001. In September 2017 the cinema was refurbished and relaunched as Odeon Leeds-Bradford Luxe, with reclining seats in every screen, updated foyer and toilets, a new food and drink counter, and a bar area in former unused space.
