Nueil-les-Aubiers is a commune in western France, in the Deux-Sèvres department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It covers about 199 square kilometers and had a population of 5,483 in 2023, giving a density of around 55 people per square kilometer. The area lies at elevations between 94 and 211 meters above sea level.

The town is governed by Mayor Serge Bouju (2020–2026). It is part of the Bressuire arrondissement and the Mauléon canton, and belongs to the Bocage Bressuirais intercommunal community.

Nueil-les-Aubiers is twinned with Attleborough, Norfolk, England, since 1996. The parish church of Saint-Hilaire is a notable landmark in the commune.
