Björn Dawidsson

Björn Dawidsson, born June 7, 1949 in Örebro, Sweden, is a photographer based in Stockholm and often goes by the name Dawid. In 1973 he had his first major solo show, Ingen älskar mig (Nobody Loves Me), at Liljevalchs konsthall in Stockholm, featuring 50 small prints from 35mm negatives. The Rost series marked a big shift away from his earlier style and from traditional, straightforward photography. Dawidsson has shown his work in many museums and galleries around the world and his photographs are in several important art collections.
