Norman F— Rockwell is a song by American singer Lana Del Rey from her 2019 album Norman Fucking Rockwell!. It was written and produced by Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff. The track lasts 4 minutes and 9 seconds and was released on August 30, 2019. It was recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Los Angeles and House of Breaking Glass in Seattle, and released by Interscope and Polydor. The song was nominated for Song of the Year at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Lyrically, the song describes a relationship with an immature man who won’t take responsibility. In the chorus Del Rey admits he has convinced her to stay, even though it makes her sad. The line goes, “Why wait for the best when I could have you?” In a BBC interview with Zane Lowe, Del Rey explained that the title track is about a brilliant, self-absorbed artist who won’t stop talking about himself.

The title is a playful nod to painter Norman Rockwell, with blue imagery used to express sadness. Musically, the song is in the key of C major, around 77 BPM, in 4/4 time. Critics praised the track, with Pitchfork highlighting its direct, cheeky lyrics and NME noting that its themes echo Del Rey’s earlier work.
