Nong Kop
Nong Kop (Thai: หนองกบ) is a subdistrict (tambon) in Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province, Thailand. The area is flat, and its name means "frog pond" because there are many ponds and marshes where frogs thrive. Gravel and sand extraction has created many small lakes. The subdistrict is home to many Lao Wiang communities. A local specialty is grilled chicken from Bang Tan village. In 2018, Nong Kop had a population of 11,877. It sits about 18 meters above sea level and uses the ICT time zone (UTC+7). Postal code: 70110.
