Nigel Atherfold

Nigel William Atherfold, born 13 June 1963, is a former New Zealand rower. He won a gold medal at the 1983 World Rowing Championships in Duisburg as the bowman of the New Zealand eight. He also won a silver medal at the 1986 World Rowing Championships in Nottingham in the men's coxed four, with Bruce Holden, Greg Johnston, Chris White, and cox Andrew Bird.
