Newfoundland is a tall residential building in Canary Wharf, London, on the Isle of Dogs. It rises 220 metres (720 feet) with 58 floors and includes some retail space and parking. Construction started in 2015, and it opened for rent in May 2021. The project was developed by South Quay Properties, Ltd., part of Canary Wharf Group, and it is the first residential building on the Canary Wharf private estate.

The building was designed by Horden Cherry Lee, with Adamson Associates as executive architect, WSP Global as structural engineer, and Hoare Lea as services engineer. Canary Wharf Contractors were the main builders.

Newfoundland is nicknamed the “diamond tower” because of its diamond-pattern steel exoskeleton. It is the tallest build-to-rent building in the United Kingdom.

Location: between Westferry Road and Bank Street, near Park Place and Heron Quay Road, on the banks of the River Thames opposite the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station.
