Never Worn White is a song by American singer Katy Perry. It was released on March 5, 2020, as a standalone single by Capitol Records. The 3-minute-45-second track is a piano-led pop ballad with a graceful sound and a heartfelt chorus. A music video was released at the same time, showing Perry in a white dress and then in a floral dress, ending with her announcing that she is pregnant.
The song later appeared as a bonus track on the Japanese edition and on fan editions of Perry’s sixth studio album, Smile (2020).
Chart performance was modest. It reached number 97 in the United Kingdom, number 39 in Hungary, and number 12 on New Zealand’s Hot Singles chart. It did not appear on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, but reached number 12 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.
