Nepal Progressive Trade Union Federation
Nepal Progressive Trade Union Federation (NPTUF) is a central trade union in Nepal and the labour wing of the Communist Party of Nepal (United Marxist). It was formed on November 19, 2005, by merging the Nepal Trade Union Federation (the union of the Communist Party of Nepal (United)) and the Nepal Trade Union Centre (the union of the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist)). NPTUF is part of the United Trade Union Movement Coordination Committee and is affiliated with the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU). The president is Sunil Manandhar.
