Nenê, born Ayrton Leite on 25 June 1925 in São Paulo, Brazil, was a Brazilian footballer who played as a midfielder and forward. He began his career with Ypiranga-SP and later played for Corinthians (1947–1950), where he made 75 appearances and scored 21 goals. He also played for Juventus-SP (1951) and São Paulo (1952–1954), with 41 appearances and 12 goals for the club. A versatile player, Nenê could operate as a midfielder, striker, or winger. He finished his career after a serious knee injury. Nenê passed away on 22 August 2007 in São Paulo at age 82.
