Bernd Meinunger
Bernd Meinunger (30 September 1944 – 17 October 2025), also known as John O'Flynn, was a German lyricist and record producer. He often worked with Hanne Haller and with Ralph Siegel and David Brandes. Many of his songs represented Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest. He co-wrote "Tut-Ench-Amun" with Horst Hornung and Christian Dornaus; Penny McLean released it in 1979 (Jupiter 100 698). He was born in Meiningen, Thuringia, Germany, and died from multiple organ failure at his home in Grünwald, Bavaria, at age 81.
