Nebraska Cranes
The Nebraska Cranes were a United States Basketball League team based in Kearney, Nebraska. They were founded in 2005 and played home games at the Kearney Events Center. Team colors were red, white, royal blue, and gold. The head coach was Brian Walsh, and the owner was Joel Weins. In their second season, 2006, the Cranes won the USBL championship by defeating the defending champions, the Dodge City Legend, with Nick Galef named the championship MVP. The team did not return for the 2007 season.
