Natural Computing is a scientific journal that publishes research on computing inspired by nature and on natural computational processes. Published quarterly since 2002 by Springer Verlag (Springer Netherlands), it covers topics such as molecular computing, quantum computing, evolution as computation, and neural networks in brain research. The print version is ISSN 1567-7818 and the online version is ISSN 1572-9796. By mid-2016, there were 19 open-access articles and the journal had an impact factor of 1.310.
