Nalikul railway station
Nalikul railway station is a stop on the Kolkata Suburban Railway. It sits beside Tarakeswar–Arambag Road in Nalikul, Hooghly district, West Bengal, India. The station code is NKL. It has 3 platforms and 2 tracks and is an on-ground station.
Opened in 1885 by the Tarkessur Railway Company, it was later taken over by the East Indian Railway Company in 1915. The line was electrified first with 3,000 V DC in 1957–58 and was converted to 25 kV AC in 1967. Nalikul is part of the Howrah division of the Eastern Railway and is a functioning station on the Howrah–Tarakeswar suburban route.
