Nagieb Khaja

Nagieb Khaja, born in 1979 in Copenhagen, is a Danish journalist, documentary filmmaker and writer. As a war correspondent, he has reported from Afghanistan, Syria and Palestine for outlets such as Al Jazeera English, Vice and the BBC. He has been nominated twice for the Cavling Prize, a respected Danish journalism award. Khaja is of Afghan descent and studied journalism at the University of Southern Denmark, where he earned his degree.
